Last Christmas, looking for the perfect gift for husband and father, Darrel, Julee and Kelsey Hunter were struck by an idea. Having been deeply moved by their experiences with Spofford children, Julee and Kelsey saw a connection between their family story and the work of Spofford. And like so many Spofford donors, they were moved to take action.

We are proud of our children’s success!

• 93 percent made progress toward their treatment goals
• 74 percent were discharged because they met their treatment goals
• 83 percent improved their academic performance
• 79 percent displayed improved social interaction in the community
• 84 percent remained in a less-restrictive setting 90 days after discharging from Spofford
